| Ultrasonic Gas Leak Detectors |
INNOVA
GasSonic manufactures ultrasonic gas leak detection systems for fixed installation
in the on-/offshore industry and other hazardous plant installations.
All traditional fixed gas detection systems has one major weakness:
Potentially explosive gas leaks are only detected if the escaping gas is actually
reaching the traditional gas detectors. In the meantime this can be very unlikely
in outdoor locations such as off-shore installations.
In
outdoor installations the escaping gas is often very quickly diluted or drifted
away by the wind, therefore a potential leak can last for a very long time before
it is detected.
A recognized alternative or supplement to existing gas detection technologies
(Infrared Point, Infrared Open-path or Catalytic Point sensors) is the ultrasonic
Gas Leak Detector MM0100 that offers an airborne acoustic detection of gas leaks.
Only ultrasonic gas leak detection offers gas leak detection coverage in 5
10 metres diameter around the detector WITHOUT being affected by changing weather
conditions.
